Good evening everyone! Luckily today is a day for a lens review! I wondered why I had put it off for so long (really its been like two months...) it was really fun and enjoyable to try out this lens and do my makeup for the photos. I think it was good motivation for more reviews soon XD

Anyhow, today's lenses are the Gothic 3 Tones G 307 in Turquoise by EOS. These lenses were sponsored by Lens Village for the purpose of review. All following opinions are my own honest assessments.


G 307 Gothic 3 Tones Turquoise

I was very attracted to these lenses right away due to the color - turquoise! Not only do I generally like turquoise, I felt it was a great color for my light eyes which are not entirely blue or green or grey haha!


ONE LENS




As you can see these lens blend so well! May I go so far to say they are one of the best, if not the best, for blending with my natural color. There are some very pigmented turquoise colors in the lens, but its also mixed with lighter greens and blues to make it look natural!


BOTH LENSES




Another great design feature of these lenses is the outer ring. It is darker, but not bold or harsh. Wearing these lenses will not gain you any "Are those lenses?!" attention. I felt they just extended my natural irises XD


WITH MAKEUP





Speaking of, the enlargement is very nice for 14.5mm, the printing extends to the edge of the lens and since the outer ring is darker (but not pure solid black) it makes the lens look as if you have big natural dolly eyes^^/

I found these lenses to be quite comfortable. I was aware of them but they didn't cause any serious discomfort either. They are more comfortable than some other EOS lenses I've tried in the past. They were easy to apply and there was very minimal lens displacement. Overall I can't find anything but nice points on these lenses!

Good day friends! I'm sorry I didn't blog all weekend :/ I did have some family business again but I also just didn't feel like posting anything. I don't have the same drive to blog anymore, and I'd rather post nothing than something really boring at this point. Today is such a beautiful day here in MN, the bright clear sun is cheering.

These lenses were sent to me by Shoppingholics.com for review purposes, all following opinions are my own honest assessments. These lenses are quite different than all the lenses I've tried previously, as they are very natural, so I was very excited to try them!

After trying the grey lenses I was very happy to try the other colors, because I was so pleased with the grey lenses. I already knew these lenses are fairly comfortable, I could wear the grey lenses for 8+ hours and that the enlarging is natural but noticeable!

Honestly I can't say if these lenses were the same level of comfort as the grey lenses, though I'm sure they are, because my mom was cooking chili and the onion and pepper fumes got under the lenses and really irritated my eyes. I had to take them off after an hour.

But the enlarging was very nice! I really like how these lenses make your iris appear larger, but not with some unnatural or very bold design. These are more like an extension of a natural eye color. People noticed something different about my eyes, but they couldn't tell it was a lens right away ^^/

The only thing I took note of was the color, it's a very bright blue on top of my light eyes! I think it would be the right level of pigmentation over darker eyes, but on light eyes it might be too brightly colored for some. If you want true blue eyes, with a natural design, then these are the lenses for you!

One great point though is the "3 tone" from the name of the lens! The inner color of the lens is a greenish brown color that helps it blend in with your own color much better!

I quite like these lenses, I would use them for looks that I want to be a bit more bold with, but could still wear them in the day time without feeling like I'm attracting a lot of attention hehe^^

With one lens in




These lenses are called Puffy 3 Tone lenses for obvious reasons - they have a darker outer ring, a middle color and a bit of brown color at the center. The brown inner color will make it blend well with naturally dark eyes, but I think they look great on light eyes too. The outer ring is not too dark either, it gives the perfect enlargement with being like bam! black ring haha.

Speaking of enlargement, for 14.5mm lenses, I felt these were quite enlarging. Perhaps its because the printing is right up to the edge of the lens (some don't have color all the way to the edge) or the design. Either way, they make your eye appear larger for sure.








Furthermore, I found these lenses to be quite comfortable. I wore them 7 hours the first night I tried them, and my eyes are not particularly irritated. These have lower water content than some other lenses, so make sure you have your re-wetting drops with you^^

These lenses fit to my eyes very well, no noticeable problems with wandering lenses. And they were easy to put on as well. Really I have no complaints with these lenses, and they match my eye color very nicely I think!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow US citizens! I often forget this is not a world holiday haha, but I really appreciate this day of peace before the frenzied storm of unadulterated consumerism tomorrow. Today I just watched Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Christmas movies and had a healthy Thanksgiving meal^^

I would love to write a Thanksgiving post today, but rather I am writing a review for the lenses I recently received from Shoppingholics.com. These lenses are very cute and unique - perfect for the character lover in all of us haha^^/


Fynale Hello Kitty Pink Circle Lens

These lenses were sent to me by Shoppingholics.com for review purposes, all following opinions are my own honest assessments. I was very curious to try these lenses out because I had never tried lenses with a special pattern like this before, though I knew such patterns existed. And the result was very nice!





Without makeup shots

As you can see, up close the design of Hello Kitty's cute face is very obvious. However from a distance it blends together to create a more common pattern. The Hello Kitty design is especially nice with this pink color, which looks great on brown eyes, but also looks nice on lighter eyes if I may say so XD

As for enlargement - they are 15mm but they appear to be larger than that. Perhaps its because of the thick dark outer ring. Anyhow if you are looking for lenses that enlarge well without going bigger than 15mm these are a good choice.








They are quite comfortable because of the higher water content. I could wear them without any discomfort at all. The lenses are also very thin, flimsy you could say as they fold in on themselve/your finger easily. So it may take more effort to get these in if you're not experienced.

Another note is I had some lens displacement, or wondering with them. Generally lens stay in place perfectly on my eyes (luckily!) but I had to mind these. I recommend checking your eyes time to time to make sure you aren't derping haha.

Overall I'm very happy with these lenses!! I was surprised that the design was not as obtrusive as one may imagine. And they are very comfortable, especially being on the larger side. I didn't know about the Fynale before this, and so far I have a positive opinion of them.

Good morning everyone, today is a busy day of classes and I have a job interview. Yesterday was a free day but somehow I didn't get the chance to blog. Xtra WT-B61 Forest Violet 15mm

These lenses were sent to me by Shoppingholics.com for review purposes, all following opinions are my own honest assessments. I picked these particular lenses because I wanted to try purple lenses again, and the black striped design of them is so interesting! Of course Shoppingholics packaged the lenses I chose in such a thorough and adorable way. The included a super cute ribbon lens case (tho my pic doesn't capture its cuteness)



These are the first lenses I have used that haven't had a blended center, I mean the colored part of the lens has a defined inner edge. I was not sure how that would work on my light eyes, but actually the result in not as jarring as I expected. From far it creates a kinda "jewel" look, and its very gyaru to me.





In regards to comfort these lenses were not as comfortable as other GEO lenses I have tried previously, but I could still wear them for several hours without troubles. They didn't feel drying either. I did notice I had some tiny problems with lens drift, which I never experienced before (my eyes have a good shape I guess haha)





Like I mentioned briefly above, these lenses have a really distinct look in mid-range photos. The contrast of the black lines on the purple color creates a sort of faceted appearance, that to me has just the right look for gyaru makeup. I would put these in my "dramatic" lenses category XD
