Jersey Shore's 'Sammi' Launches Jewelry Collection

What's the first thing you think of when you think of Jersey Shore's Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola? Whiny, pouty breakups with Ronnie? Whiny, pouty make-ups with Ronnie? A mean right hook?

While 'jewelry' certainly isn't a 'top-of-mind' part of her winning personality, now the world can rest easy because there's a new 'whiny, pouty jewelry line' on the block to fill the fashion void.

The long-limbed guidette just launched 'Sammi Sweetheart" jewelry with RichRocks - a 7-piece costume collection that plays off her 'sweetheart' image. There are (shocker!) heart-shaped pendants, crystal layer bracelets and Jersey Girl staple  - huge hoop earrings  - available along with other heart-warming styles.

But most importantly? Sammi takes pride in giving her fans a 'sweetheart' deal on price points.

“I love that the RichRocks brand and my collection retails for just under $100,” she tells PEOPLE. “It was very important for me to keep all of the pieces affordable for my fans so they can purchase more than one piece and add to the collection. I have created some great fun and flirty pieces to wear day into night.”

Valentine's Day 2.0

Valentine's Day is creeping up on us faster than a Charlie Sheen relapse, jewelry hounds, and the holiday of love has me thinking:

Why is it that only couples get to celebrate Valentine's Day? And more importantly? Why is it that only women who are in a RELATIONSHIP get the jewelry spoils from this bling-filled occasion?

 

It's high time single ladies get in on the Valentine's Day action too. Starting now.

Besties like Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, for example, should get each other diamond heart pendants this year - or Eva Longoria should splurge on a diamond right hand ring to celebrate the fact that she no longer has to put up with basketball highlights and boring conversation!

Lindsay Lohan's Jewelry Line Lunch

What would my life be without a Lindsay Lohan jewelry post, right? After 90 days at Betty Ford, Li-lo is on the loose again, and the jewelry buzz is following her like a neglected puppy dog.

But let's all share a moment of silence, shall we, and send out our most positive thoughts that instead of 'misplacing' loaner jewels or 'borrowing' samples from her friends' launch parties, Lindsay's jewelry news will take a more legitimate turn for 2011. 

So far, so good.

Apparently, jeweler Pacal Mouawad (famed for partnering with Nicole Richie on her House of Harlow line, among other stars) lunched with Lohan where they reportedly 'discussed' a jewelry line of their own.

And what did she get for her trouble? How about a 10-carat diamond heart Rosette necklace worth $25,000 smackers? I'd stay off the sauce if I were you, sister.

"Lindsay is looking great, she has a positive attitude, and we are looking forward to an amazing 2011 spending a lot of time together," Mouawad told people.com.
