Paris Fashion Week John Galliano's Last Show For Dior Fall 2011

The Christian Dior collection opened with a touching speech from Sidney Toledano, chief executive of Dior. It was part apology, part eulogy and an odd start for what remains one of the most hotly anticipated shows of the week.
What the departed John Galliano had started, the Dior ateliers finished off. Indeed, it was they who took the bow at the end of the catwalk show, accepting the applause for a dandy-inspired collection of jewel tone velvets, fluttery chiffon dresses and lots and lots of accessories. They occasionally overloaded outfits, in the way a hefty leather Lady Dior tote can when a model is also negotiating a puff-waist jacket, cape, cavalier hat and seven-inch platforms. Otherwise, the accessories were an underline of the Dior house style.

Paris Fashion Week John Galliano Fall 2011

such a shame to see that none of these incredible clothes would see the light of a retail day .All this creation ,hard work, inspirations and design went to waste !!! .

Dear
John Galliano
we will always support you and be there for you no matter what .You are a role model and will always be to so many people out there dreaming to be you and work so hard to be in your shoes for just seconds.Everyone can speak their minds and the world should respect it ,even if it was aggressive you should let it out there and not hold it .

The thirties line that Galliano always loved was revisited in the rigorous tailoring he excelled at, but it was wickedly updated: Karlie Kloss' jacket was tattered, the fur-collared number that followed was paired with a pencil skirt in latex. The hand of Galliano the master seducer was obvious in a silk jacket in a dégradé plaid, which was belted over a slipdress. Another slipdress was worn under a latex-yoke organza coat. A clutch of the bias-cut beauties that were the designer's original calling card were preceded by Kloss in a breathtaking full-skirted, halter-neck gown with an arrowhead motif.
