Brand New Blend: Mad/Quickie

Here's a new in key blend, "quickie" not only is the instrumental used but also describes the creation of this edit. Fit so well it practically made itself....just re-arranged the beat, etc.

New Edit: All I Want Is You - Keep It Up

Hey folks! Just finished this Miguel edit up, used a Milton Wright sample and added keys, created drum fills, etc. It's a summery night kind of vibe, hope you like.

New Remix: Bottom's Up

New remix using an MPC beat, which I am trying to do much more of this year. I stuttered up the Dynamic Superiors sample with some 808s, sparce keys, and lots of snare fills. The DIY acapellas isn't too bad but you can hear some slight artifacts if you listen carefully, my apologies for not having something better to work with.

Edit: Sleeping With A Broken Heart/Black & Yellow

Finished off another idea, an R&B bridge for the Wiz K hit.

Happy New Year/House Cleaning Edit

Hey folks, I just wanted to thank all the people who make to the effort to check in now and again over here at DITD. I thought as a token of my gratitude I would share a few unreleased joints that I didn't quite finish last year. I'll start with this BOB/Common joint I was about to trash until I worked it out. Happy New Year! More stuff in the next few days...

New Edit/Remix: Mary J answers "All I Want Is You"

New Blend: Come Around/Deuces

Here's something I made yesterday to the smell of apple pie baking from scratch.

New Remix: OMG - Rage! Rework

Hey friends! Here's a brand new new Ursher remix, big ups to Pony P for hooking up the Chromeo record. And also to my dude Kutkorners for the studio acappella. I guess I had nothin' but the habit, haha. Thank you!

Pop Blend: Promise

This is something 'from' the radio...

Promise (every breath you take take)

Originally created for Night Of The Remix Vol 2.
I am going to be going back and breaking loose some older edits from the CDs that were never available as individual tracks, let me know if there's anything in particular I should bust out.

A Little Bit Of Love Is All It Takes

Here's something new, the classic N.E. vocals over Le Scratch Funk's "From Scratch" drums on MPM. Planned on just making the quick blend/edit but after playing with the Juno a bit I added subtle layers throughout the track. Grab 'em both or take your pick :)

Something In The Way You Make Me Feel

Longtime personal favorite Stephanie Mills track on a fresh, synthy New Boyz blapper.

New Edit/Dub - Thinking Of You

Sorry for being so scarce ove the past few weeks, I've been hard at work on some new projects and busy with the holidays, family, etc. Anyways, here's a new jam - happy holidays to all of you and thanks so much for checking my lil corner of the internets this past year.

Where Did Our Club Go

Used a lil snippet of this indulgent blend on the Super 7 mix:
Here's the 'loose' version just for fun.

Flashback: Goodies

One from a few years back, by request.
I think this is such a cool picture of Ciara, recording in Atlanta, GA.
Lucky google find!

I generally get irked when the beginning of a track has some good drums at the top but they're faded in! In this case as a remedy I messed with the amplitude of the loudest hits, making a little 4 bar intro with a snare at the jump.

Like The Way You Work It

This is an old idea that I re-worked a few months ago and forgot about, was going through some sessions the other day and thought I should post it up. The instrumental is from the QSO/Alice Russell cover of "Left & Right" by Red, Meth and D'Angelo. Much respect to Quantic Will out in Colombia, a great dude and all around talented producer.

N.O. Diggity (follow me re-work)

Don't Need No Hook For This Hit

Messing around with the Drake instrumental and came up with this blend yesterday. I really like this beat, nothing too fancy but it has a raw, ringing swing to it.

Shawty Is A 1.0. (best i ever had fix)

R & Boogie

A lil' summertime ditty from last year, gotta love some RJ's L.A.!
